This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Oh you are still alive... Well you haven't missed much. I've learnt that there isn't really great money to be earnt in those forums. It's just a bunch of kids with pocket money trying to get cheap work. I've not had anything in there for weeks. I've been working with a local client in my area for the last few months which has been keeping me busy and paying well. I do feel though every now and then I need to say something just to remind people what we are worth I also had an interview for a chance to go full time as a Designer but I didn't get the job, which has f**ked me off a bit but o well.

Ah, so all 3 of us have come to the same conclusion! Ha that's funny. I completely agree with you Ash, the forums aren't a good source to get some work, with the odd exception. Sorry to hear about the job, what went wrong?
Looks like the past few months have been going downhill for all of us- maybe in Jan things will pick up as new business are formed, hopefully.
I was told I didn't have enough experience with advertising..which is true. Just pissed because they had two of the same position going and it was ages before I heard back from them. Other then that the freelance work is going ok. I've had a client come back to me and I have a relationship with a new client which is bring in the work and money. I've been put in charge of all advertising and marketing which is ironic from what the job interview feedback was. lol

Yeah, I've been leaning that way; a lot of times you have to really talk the price up to clients. Most of the people who come here aren't commercially-minded people. More of the 'I want a logo for my personal wine', which is fine but they're usually looking for 50 bucks for a logo.
What sort of stuff have you been doing with the local guy?
Mostly print design. A new set of Business cards, letterhead and compliment slip. A banner for the website. I made a slideshow for a presentation. I've been put in charge of all marketing and advetising, so i'm setting up an add to try and get customers for the business. I've done a flyer as well. I will put some of it up soon. It's also here:[link]
